Karachi Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU) reports on finding a bomb on 23 December 2023 at the train cantonment station, which is in Karachi. The Bomb Disposal Unit further reported the bomb was in a black and red colored school bag, which was found on the Awaami Express train near seat 71 in bogie number 5.
Later, the bomb was defused by the Bomb Disposal Unit. They further acknowledge two and a half kg explosives were also found, and the weight of the bag was 5 kg.
