On Thursday, 11 January 2024, Many cities in Pakistan were struck by a magnitude 6.0 Earthquake at 2:30 pm.
The Earthquake jolted Islamabad, Lahore, and its adjoining areas, and the quake was felt in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to USGS, the Eartheuqkae was 6.4 magnitude, and the epicenter was 44 Km south-southeast of Jurm, Afghanistan.
According to Our department, the epicenter of the Earthquake was the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. The Earthquake struck at 2:20 pm at a depth of 213 km, with a longitude of 70.63 east and a latitude of 36.16 North.
According to officials, there was no news of any destruction or casualties.
